Dave and Lauren - Elopement in Denton
St. Lawrences Church 5th November 2022
Wow. This was a turnup for the books. I had met Dave, the groom a few years back photographing one of his productions. He is a producer and musician so it was great to get a call out of the blue asking if I would photograph his marriage to Lauren. This had been delayed due to the pandemic so they just wanted to get married and sort all of the partying out later.
The venue was St. Lawrences Church in Denton - a small and rare specimen of an Elizabethan church.
They were witnessed by their best man and maid of honour. This was about as small and intimate gathering as it’s possible to get so in one sense it stretched my creative abilities, but having such a small wedding also allows greater focus and attention to details and nuance. So it was all good.
Afterwards they all had a small get-together at Dave and Lauren’s house. This was a special and unique occasion.
